
| New Vessel Title | |
| To register a new vessel, never before titled, you must bring the following to any Tax Collector's office: | |
| A manufacturer's Statement of Origin properly completed and signed, (notarization may be required) by the selling dealer/store. | |
| A copy of the executed bill of sale or dealer's invoice listing the vessel purchase price, sales tax paid and any trade-in allowance. Additional taxes equivalent to Florida's sales tax and local sales tax may be due. | |
| If recording a lien, the lien holders name, address and the date of lien are required. | |
| Each applicant, or their appointed power of attorney (documents required) must sign a new application for title. If you are the appointed power of attorney, the original or a certified copy of the original signed appointment must be presented at time of application. | |
| The applicant's date of birth and Florida driver license number are recorded as part of the application. If registered in a company name, the Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) must be recorded. | |
| Basic title fees of $5.75 are charged and if a lien is to be recorded add an additional fee of $1.00. This is in addition to registration fees due upon application. |
